Toward the end of 2022, I created my case study that united one of my favorite designers- Stella Jean- with the country that I'm eager to explore for their textiles, monasteries, and animal conservation practices- Sri Lanka! This collaboration would not only be impactful for the sustainability of fashion, but as a brand who constantly promotes the sustainability of culture, I know Stella Jean would make a truly magical team with the women of Sri Lanka! I submitted this project to the 2023 Fashion Scholarship Fund where I was awarded as a 2023 FSF Scholar. I'm so honored and after doing so much research for this project, fueled to create more... for sustainability, but more than that- how art can unite, empower, and promote peace on our planet!
