I worked with an AMAZING team from my University to produce this Sculpture out of Silicon Bronze representing unity of humanity underneath the stars. With all 12 months of the year represented as constellations on the surface, an astronaut reaching for the stars, and the earth- sun -and moon, my sculpture is a paper airplane because whether you're 8 or 80 you can reflect on and find connection with a paper airplane. Made out of Silicon Bronze which is 96% copper, the sculpture will gain a patina over time representing the beauty of age. We are all one humanity reaching for the stars, dreaming big, following our path- this sculpture is that and I'm so blessed to be a part of a group of 9 other artists who have our sculptures permanently displayed in Lacoste, France!
