If you look closely at the designs hidden within the linework of the Scottish flag, you'll find all sorts of iconic Scottish gems! The Unicorn is their national mascot, the Thistle at the top is the flower of Scotland, I captured the Edinburgh Castle at the bottom, the Bag Piper busking along the royal mile!
Some of my family lives in Edinburgh, so seeing the city through the eyes of locals was the most magical experience!
I am so lucky to have these amazing people in my life- Aunt Kim if you read this, you inspire me everyday! From going up and down old town, new town, adventuring out to Saint Andrews, Glasgow, the Highlands, this was the first place I'd been outside of America; the first place where I realized just how big and beautiful and different our world is! It gives me chills just thinking about the endless-possibility-kind-of-fuel that this beutiful country gives off for a curious soul! And there colors are blue and white- y'all know I love a good blue!
